Executive Team

American Traffic Solutions' robust coast-to-coast organization is led by a knowledgeable, experienced management team. ATS has a proven track record of consistently delivering high-performance photo enforcement and business solutions to our customers on time. The principals implemented the nation’s first traffic camera program in 1987 and have been committed to the development and success of the photo traffic enforcement industry ever since. The ATS Management Team offers breadth and depth with direct, relevant experience in its industries.

James D. Tuton, President / CEO
James Tuton has been focused on the Electronic Toll and Traffic Management industry for more than 20 years. In 1987, he pioneered the automated photo traffic enforcement industry in the United States starting with the first speed camera program implemented in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The red-light camera industry followed nearly 10 years later. Today, Mr. Tuton leads the company with worldwide business activity and more than 400 employees located at ATS facilities across the continent. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, New York.

Adam E. Tuton, Executive Vice President / COO / President-Public Safety
Adam Tuton has worked in the photo enforcement industry since 1992. His successful track record has included the implementation of programs in 20 states and several foreign countries. He is responsible for all Software Development, Research and Development, Program Delivery, Manufacturing, Field Services, Construction, Client Services and Back-Office Operations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona.

Adam Draizin, Executive Vice President / President-Commercial Services
Adam Draizin oversees Finance and Administration, Accounting, Human Resources and Commercial Services. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of RAD Energy Corporation based in metropolitan New York City. He also worked as senior advisor to the President of BP’s U.S. Fuels Division and as an investment banking analyst at Kidder, Peabody & Company. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

John Petrozza, Executive Vice President, Field Operations
John Petrozza is responsible for Construction and Field Operations throughout North America. John was a senior officer of the 80-year-old, New York-based Mulvihill Electrical Contracting Corp. and founder of its ICS division, which is a subsidiary of ATS. John has been actively involved with the red-light camera business for more than 10 years.
